Why are sane moderate muslims receiving death threats from fellow "muslims"??? Does islam condone this?

Well, once there are extremists in an organization, those who speak out against them from within the organization may constitute a more serious threat than their avowed enemies. They want to create the impression that they have the backing of the silent mes of their religion. Of course, reasonable people know that extremists are always in a minority. Otherwise it is not accurate to call them extremist, is it?
