Rankings - USC or LSU #1? Maybe throw in Oklahoma too?

That's the whole argument for waiting a few weeks before coming out with the first polls. If that were the case, LSU probably would be number one. Personally I felt that VTech was overrated and Death Valley is one of the most hostile environments so I'm not suprised LSU blew them out. If LSU can run the gaundlet that is the SEC undefeated then I believe they'll leapfrog USC. Nothing against USC, I think they have ridiculous talent, it's just their schedule doesn't stack up although USC's toughest games are all on the road this year. Right now I'd still give LSU the #1 vote because they've been the most impressive, with OU #2 but the Trojans will get their chance next week. If they can roll at Nebraska, I probably go back with USC, but this is why the poll shouldn't come out until at least 3 weeks into the season.
