What do you think of Obama's new tax plan?

An aide to Barrack Obama announded at a luncheon in Orlando Fl to raise money for Democratic candidates that Mr Obama has made a few adjustments to his tax plan. According to the aide Obama would base his tax hikes not mainly on a taxpayer's income but on his/her job. For example the aide said that an actress or actor would have his/her tax rate increased to a 49% level for any income over $240,000 per year while a policeman or fireman would have income over 240,000 per year taxed at only 10%. The aide said the tax rates should reflect the importance of the job. He said that the income of a celebrity should be taxed higher due to the fact that the job could vanish and society would not be any worse off. Whan Barrack heard of these statements he quickly asked the aide to resign. The aide later was quoted as saying he was just communicating to his audience something he was told by a high ranking official in the Obama campaign. The head of Obama's campaign quickly denied this and said Mr Obama stands by his original decalaration that 95% of taxpayer will have their taxes decreased under his plan.
