Why doesn’t everyone understand Wikipedia isn’t reliable?

The site is an open site, which can be changed by you or me or any uneducated person that sees fit. You could put in there that the history of an apple is an orange, that a fish is an elephant or you could just continue to use it for the bases of every answer you believe is logical and accurate. Research papers, speeches, and any info based material you need should be critically yzed for accuracy and legality, you could be partaking in some huge copyright laws, plus risking sounding like a ignorant troglodyte. Think about it.
