What will happen when you move while on probation?

Title kind of says it all.. What will happen when a child is on probation, and the parents want to move out-of-state? They can't keep them from moving, cos the parents aren't on probation.. Will they make the child stay, have the probation move to where the people are moving, or what? It isn't a very serious probation, but it's indefinite..
