Are there any legalities regarding kicking a roomate out?

I don't think so. i got rid of a roomate who wasn't on the lease. Gave her a month and she didn't leave so I put all of her stuff outside and changed the lock. She came by and just quietly took her stuff and never came back and I never heard from her again.(She was almost a hooker, which I didn't know until she moved in and had diff guys over every night which I thought was dangerous and she had to go). So maybe I used harsh means but it had to be done.
